Well that was a bit creepy annnnd he’s gone. I wonder if Sora ever wondered what this door was doing there (Somewhat of a spoiler: You finally get to know what this door is about in KH 2.8).
On another note, don’t see why they even made this their secret hideout. The whole atmosphere is spooky.
The way the shrouded figure was talking was weird at times (like わかるまい・できまい）. I think that is just a weird way for old men to talk. For instance in Pokemon Professor Oak says じゃあ at the end of his sentences. It replaces the だ which is just the English version of a period (sort of).
Update: Okay, so the わかるまい・できまい is a N2 Grammar which means will not or must not. Since I thought it was strange old man way of speaking in the negative form (わかるない・できない) so I guess I wasn’t too far off in the translation.
