Well… that guy was creepy. Hope we never run into that guy again ;). Anyways out of the creepy cave and back to the beach…

(*Decided to start adding some location names here and there [For example, in number 1.])

1. 「浜辺（はまべ）」への出口（でぐち）

「浜辺の小屋（こや）」への扉（とびら）

「入江（いりえ）」への扉

2. これ？サラサ貝（かい）のアクセサリー作（つく）ってるの。

昔の船乗りはみんなサラサ貝を身（み）につけてたから。

旅（たび）の無事（ぶじ）のおまもりなんだって。

　　(Oh, this? I’m making an accessory out of Thalassa Shells.)

　　(Long ago all the sailors used to wear these Thalassa Shells.

　　(They were like a good luck charm for a safe journey.)

3.  ソラ、おつかれさま！私（わたし）も、いいものみつけたの。ソラにあげるよ。

つかれた？今日（きょう）はもう帰（かえ）ろっか？

そうだね。明日（あした）はいよいよ出発（しゅっぱつ）だし、今日は早（はや）く帰ろ！

　　(Nice work, Sora! I found something good, too. I’ll give it to you.)

　　(Are you tired? Wanna go home for today?)

　　(Right. Since we’ll finally be departing tomorrow, let’s go home early today!)

4.  リク　ちょっと変（か）わったね。

 どこが？

 ええとーー　

気（き）のせいだよ。

　　(Riku’s changed a little, hasn’t he?)

         (In what way? [lit. - to what extent?])

         (uh--)

　　(It’s just your imagination.)

5.  ねえ　このままイカダに乗（の）ってさ。ふたりだけで行（い）っちゃおっか。

 え？

  なんてね。

         (Hey, how about we ride the raft like it is and go with just the two of us.)

　　(Huh?)

         (Just kidding.)

6.  突然（とつぜん）どうした？カイリのほうが変わったんじゃないか。

 かもね。

 海（うみ）の向（む）こうに行くの　少（すこ）し怖（こわ）かったけど　

 今はワクワクしてるんだ。どこへ行っても　何を見ても

 私（わたし）かならずここに帰ってこれる。でしょ？

 まかせとけよ。 

 よかった。

　　(What’s with you all of a sudden? You're the one who’s changed, aren’t you, Kairi.)

　　(Maybe.)

　　(I was scared to go out to sea but

Now I’m getting excited. No matter where I go, or what I see

　　(Don’t ever change, Sora.)

8.  親友（しんゆう）ドナルドへ、

『 突然、皆（みんな）の前（まえ）から消（き）えたことを許（ゆる）して欲（ほ）しい。

事は一刻（いっこく）を争（あらそ）うようだ。

どうしてもすぐに出（で）かけなければならない。

　    (『Forgive me for disappearing all of sudden.)

　    (Things seem to have gotten out of hand for the moment.)

　    (So I must leave immediately.)

9. 例（れい）の奇妙（きみょう）な事件（じけん）ーーー夜空（よぞら）の星（ほし）が消（き）えているのも、

すでに始まっている災厄（さいやく）の一部（いちぶ）に過（す）ぎない。

なんとしても、問題（もんだい）を解決（かいけつ）しなければ。

王（おう）として、君（きみ）とグーフィーに頼（たの）むがある。

この事件の　”鍵（かぎ）”　を握（にぎ）っている人間（にんげん）がどこかにいる。

        (This bizarre case --- where the stars in the night sky are being erased, )

　    (this is only a part of the disaster that has already begun. )

　    (I must settle this case no matter what.)

　    (As the king, I have a request for you and Goofy.)

　    (The human that holds the “key” to this case is out there somewhere.)

10.  彼（かれ）を探（さが）し出（だ）し、ともに行動（こうどう）してほしい。

我々には　”鍵”　が必要（ひつよう）なんだ。

まずはトラヴァースタウンにいる、

レオンという男（おとこ）に会（あ）ってくれ。』

  王様（おうさま）ひとりで大丈夫かなァ。

  ご安心（あんし）を。

  必（かなら）ず　”鍵”　を見（み）つけ　王様を連れ戻します。

  ふたりとも　ありがとう。

  デイジー　王妃様（おうひさま）を。

  大丈夫　あなたこそしっかりね。

　　(All we can do for now is trust the King.)

　　(I wonder if the King will be okay by himself.)

　　(Don’t worry. [lit. Have peace of mind/worry not, your majesty.])

　　(We will definitely find the “key” and bring the King back with us.)

　　(Thanks to the both of you.)

　　(Daisy, I leave the queen to you.)

　　(We’ll be okay. You do what needs to be done properly [We’ll be fine. Go and get things settled properly.] )

13.   そうだわ　旅の記憶（きおく）役（やく）に

  彼を連れておいきなさい

  ここですよォ！

　　(Oh that’s right, the chronicler/journalist, 

          be sure to take him. )

　　(I’m right here!)

14.   どうも　ジミニー・クリケットです。

  王を助けてあげてね

  無事を祈っています。

  キミも来るの！

  　  (Hello I am Jiminy Cricket.)

　    (Help the king, okay

         May you have a safe journey. [lit. I’ll be praying/hoping for your safety.])

　　　　　 (You're coming, too!)

15.    それじゃジミニー　キミのいた世界も消えてしまったの？

   みな　はなればなれになりーー

   私だけが　この城にたどりついたというわけで。

 　   (So Jiminy your world [that lived in] disappeared, too?)

　　(Everyone was scattered--)

　　(I am the only one who managed to reach this castle.)

16.  グーフィー？

 わかってるよ。

 この城の外（そと）では　僕（ぼく）たちがよその世界から

  来（き）たことを明（あ）かしてはいけない。

  おたがいの近所（きんじょ）を守（まも）るために。

  ”秩序（ちつじょ）”

　そう　チツジョを守るために。

　　(Goofy?)

　　(I know.)

　　(Outside of this castle we must not reveal that we  come from another world. [When we are 　　out of this castle we can’t reveal that we are from another world.])

　　(In order to protect the neighborhood. [What they translated in KH Eng: To protect the world border])

　　(That’s “order”.)

　　(Oh yeah, to protect the “order”. [What they translated in KH Eng:Right, world order.])

*Official translation switched “neighborhood” out with “border” to fit the pun/wordplay better.

17.  むこうについたらこの服（ふく）も着（き）がえなくちゃね。

 整備班（せいびはん）？　こちらドナルド。

 よかったら　はじめてくれ。

  発進（はっしん）！！

　　(We should change out of these clothes when we arrive [at Traverse Town], right?)

         (Maintenance team? It’s Donald.)

　　(You can start now if you like. [lit. If you like, please start it up for me.])

　　(Take off!!)

And they are off to Traverse Town. On another note, thank goodness that Donald is not the main protagonist of this series because he is very hard to understand (and I thought he was hard to understand in English already). Anyways, we still stop here for now and pick back up with Sora next week.
